Based in Waterford, WiEnergy is a leading energy retrofit specialist transforming residential and commercial properties across the South East. Due to rapid growth, we are actively expanding our team with dedicated professionals passionate about sustainability, quality workmanship, and modern energy solutions.

We are currently hiring for the following roles:

Fully Qualified Plumbers (with Gas Installation Experience)

• Requirements: Ideally RGII registered with hands-on experience in domestic/commercial heating systems and heat pump installations, full driving license.

• Role: Lead plumbing installations, boiler upgrades, heat pump retrofits, and gas system commissions across regional job sites.

Fully Qualified Electricians

• Requirements: Full RECI / Safe Electric certification (or equivalent national qualification), full driving license, and proven experience in domestic or commercial electrical installations. Experience with heat pump wiring, solar PV, or smart energy controls is highly advantageous.

• Role: Carry out complete electrical retrofits, consumer unit upgrades, heat pump/solar integration, and pre-commissioning testing to standard and safety regulations across regional sites.

Energy Surveyors

• Requirements: Strong knowledge of building fabric, insulation & ventilation systems.

• Role: Conduct comprehensive technical site assessments, evaluate energy performance, calculate heat loss, and produce detailed retrofit plans for client properties.

Project Managers (Junior & Experienced Positions)

• Requirements: Proven experience in construction, energy retrofit, or trades management. Junior roles require strong organizational skills and a relevant diploma/degree; senior roles require 3+ years managing multi-site installations and sub-contractors.

• Role: Oversee project timelines, resource allocation, budget control, SEAI grant compliance, and quality assurance across South East site locations.

General Operatives

• Requirements: Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certificates (preferred but we will provide if needed). Prior experience in insulation, general construction, or trade assistance is a strong advantage.

• Role: Assist skilled trades on-site, manage site prep and clean-up, handle material deliveries, and support insulation and structural retrofit work.
